"My ten year old son has struggled with speech issues for many years. As he got older and was completing each grade, I realized his speech issues were growing larger and there was less help available at his school. I knew that he was having tremendous problems communicating with his peers, family, and school teachers. From the first meeting my son had with Robin, I finally felt as if he was going to receive the tools and direction to help him succeed.

Robin’ s staff took the time to talk with me and help me understand what each step was and what to expect along the way. Robin was able to evaluate and diagnose him as a severe stutterer. She explained to both of us what that meant and how we were going to help him become the “boss of his words”.

The staff continued to work with my challenging schedule every week to ensure that my son was able to attend regular speech sessions. Almost two years later, my son has the tools and has become more fluent when speaking in class, with his peers, and with adults. He is less nervous about his stuttering and knows that he is not alone. Working with Robin has given my son the confidence to succeed and become very confident in himself.

Robin and her staff have made a tremendous positive impact in not only my son’s life, but also our entire family’s life. We struggled for many years to help our son improve his ability to speak. It was a frustrating and difficult process that I feel by working with Robin we were successful. It is rare to see such dedication and determination that Robin has with her clients.
